Wonder how many of you guys still have these bushing in your car? It seems like they can get damaged easily, any other options beside going with the original? They cost about 50 bucks each. I plan to get 2.

I never knew there was such a part. Do they make easier to install the top?

I beleive its main function to to protect the rubber/plastic guide pins from the targa, I lost one and the one in the picture fell out, and only late 328s have them but they are really fragile and many 328 may have lost them very early on, maybe it's more of the concorso parts:

I bought guide pins a few years ago and they looked good for about a week. I had just replaced the targa seal (NLA) and thought the then chewed-up pins presented a bigger risk to the seal than new ones would. I don't recall how much they were, but I remember thinking it was too much. Next time around I'll get the bushings too.

I lost one about a year ago. I replaced it for around $45-$50 IIRC.
