I hate having to fill the 308 with gas... Almost every time the nozzle clicks off after just a little bit of gas goes in... I really have to trickle it in there to get it near full... :-(

But man is it fun emptying it again. :)

Old wives tale. I've cleaned literally miles of glass in my day. Job Squad and Sprayway glass cleaner from Costco is the cats pajamas.

For the windows, use a product called Invisible Glass.
The best glass cleaner available. Use it with a clean
towel, make sure it wasn't washed or dried with
fabric softeners and I guarantee you'll have a
    "streak free" windshield.

Putting the car up on jack-stands to work on it. Even worse sometimes is getting it back down (the anticipation and lack of patience add to the stress level).

Other than that I would agree with the cleaning the wheels and windshield as both being a pain!

    Dear Ferraristi,

My Florida home garage is not wide enough. Everytime I want to wash either the Ferrari or the Lamborghini, I have to pull the other car out....so I don't get water overspray.

Yeah....cleaning and waxing each strake on the Testarossa.

On the Lamborghini VT Roadster, washing the bottom of the doors while holding it from going completely upright....or soapy water gets on the carpet and seats.

    About cleaning the glass...

I use those white cloth towels from Walmart with "invisible glass" made by stoner corp. It's "tint" safe.

After, I use the "invisible glass" with some crumpled up newspaper to remove any streaks. DO NOT USE NEWSPAPER ON TINT.....it will scratch.

The trick is to really crumple it up so it's soft. Spray the cleaner on the glass then wipe slowly with the newspaper. When the newspaper soaks up the cleaner, you can move a little faster.

For the inside of the windshield, I use the crumpled up newspaper but spray the cleaner on the newspaper first....no overspray on the dash.

For the corners of the windshield, fold some newspaper and spray a LITTLE cleaner on it then do the edges to the base.

Try rotating the handle 90 degrees. The only station I found that this is not necessary in order to keep a continuous stream of gas flowing is Chevron.

I fuel our 360 spider with the nozzle upside down and it works brilliantly. I usually don't lock it out at full flow speed but it works very well and seldom cuts off prematurely.

I use the triangle plate. It came with a polishing cloth that fits over the end,and I can't live without it.Mine is durable plastic, used it for years, and I put a lot of pressure on it,never cracked.I bought it a few years ago from a store in the mall called "As Seen on TV" Got 2 of them for $12! The pads that came with it are still like new,and have used them at least a thousand times.
