well it's only a few months away so thought I'd see how many of us here are going I'm driving to Melbourne (IT'S A GT SO I'M TOURING AWRIGHT!!!) and catching the raft over so we need a rendevous dinner the night before. Would be nice to get the festivities off to a nice start and it's only a short drive the next dat
Hi im thinking about it, not a lot of interest so far from most NSW members ive spoken to. There talk of a breakaway tour same week. We'll see Andrew
I'm actually considering flying over for a look, should be a better turnout then what we had over here. I've never been to Tassie so it might be a good excuse to make the trip.....though there would have to be enough "special" Ferraris to make it worthwhile.
I was hoping to have my BB there. But I'm a tad behind schedule. Won't be far off though. Also, FWIW, I'm fairly sure big Tommies 360C speciale won't be there... unless a new owner takes it.
hi Moretti You know what its like, can't please them all, who doesnt like this , or was hoping it would be that. Biggest complaint so far is that they've panned out the tour to a travel agency who hasn't thought it through. Me personally if I go ill leave from Sydney 3 days earlier book into a hotels and wait for all the cars to come off the ferry. Andrew
that's not entirely true....but just as a matter of interest, what aspect appear not to have been properly thought through? I haven't decided if i'm going or not, yet.
I read the itinerary the other day in Horsepower and it seemed like a good time to me, what were the NSW people expecting, lap dancers, the Eiffel Tower, ??? They've got a lot of the good sights included in the schedule and a few cruises thrown in with a trip to Cradle Mountain on day5 If you don't go who are Scott and I going to give a hard time ??
yes...that is very true, and I know there'll be lots of disappointed people if i don't go...but you know me...i'm only interested in me
I'd be more interested if it was a Ferrarichat meeting instead due to: 1. Knowing everyone either personally or on-line. 2. There would be a mix of cars which is better than a single brand (even a great one like Ferrari). Great location though.
so an fchat run to tassie including beemas, lambos, renscs and even SiFi's pedal car. sounds good Mark.
You only need to be a member to go. I wasn't aware that you had to drive a Ferrari. I've promised the missus a holiday in Tassie, so it looks like I'm a goer, but will have to work out a club registartion or something, otherwise will end up taking Emily. (Yasmin's name for her M3)
and some other guy rocked up in a maserati...but he didn't get the transport allowance for getting it to perth.
that's like taking a knife to a gun fight (volvo wasn't it ??) Stephen, borrow one from MM for the week, they've got plenty If you take the M3 my wife will want to be in THAT :Grrrr: and we couldn't have 2 lardarses in the QV
great that you're coming, that'll be one 308 I don't have to worry about should we leave the choice of venue to PP or Scott ? not Carl, I get sick of Vietnamese
