    Managed to get myself in the way today and take some photos of the cars that are visiting Tassie, thought you guys might like to see how everyone is doing. Tomorrow I'm hoping to go out and watch the motokhana and get a few more shots.

    But Ferrari F1 and GT competition cars in the 60's and 70's ran on gold rims, so I think its quite OK to have them now, particularly on a CH.

    btw the 355CH wing is beautifully made, nicer I think than the 360CH wing.

    That's what I though - what's with all the AMs?

    As for the plate AML007...puh-lease. I'd almost cope with this on a silver DB5 but nothing else.

    Only 3 OHOS's too. A black C4, the Hall GTE and the ex-Gerry D 246.

    Unless Daytona's weren't allowed in the car park because of oil leaks...

    sadly, they're not gold...more mustard. They were MEANT to be gold, though...if that's any sort of consolation.

    He was trying to replicate the gold/red of those earlier cars.

    I don't think the 360CH actually had a wing officially. weren't they just "made up" here?

    As Pee Pee said, the 360Ch raced here in Oz had a locally made up wing. Made for go more than show.
    The 355Ch wing may have looked great; but the range of adjustment was pathetic. They could have made it better very easily.

    Well today was absolutely surreal and breathtaking! I'm still pinching myself to see if it really happened. I took about 3 gig worth of photographs of the motokhana at the Police Academy Driver Training, haven't even began sorting through them but the absolute highlight of my day was going for a short blat up the highway in a 575 Maranello, the first Ferrari I have ever been in and one of my absolute all time favourites!!! Thank you so much Denis!!!!

    Everyone appeared to be having a ball out there on the pan, plenty of laughs and trash talking from the hill, hehehe. Thank you to all of those that made me feel welcome as a spectator/photographer as well, you really are a lovely bunch. I hope you had a fantastic stay in Tasmania and thank god the weather was beautiful, I think I even got a tan today! :D

    40 cars. today was an absolute blast, apparently. my bro in law was accused of breaking all the hoon laws :) Lots of tyre smoke.....nothing like the smell of burning rubber, or so i'm told.
