Here's a picture of the TCU in 2002 Spider. I purchased the car a year ago so I don't have a history on the part. It looks like the unit is for a 2000 model year. I have had the PIS set with a Leonardo so it is updated. This car shifts hard and very fast in Sport mode above 7000 rpm and downshifts very nice also.

Is there a way to pull any TCU info with a Leonardo or SD2? I'd just like to know if it has been upgraded to CS specs or not. Or maybe someone knows something about these upgraded TCU's.

The number is under the post-it and starts with 19. Could be 191701, 193263, 195399, 197533 or 196986(CS).

I don't really know what the numbers designate, but MY00 may be the year 2000. And the date of manufacure looks like December 3, 2001. CS did not exist at that point. And the car is a 2002 so it may be an older TCU with updates. I will pull the post it and get the full number if that helps anyone.

The number under the post wont tell you that much. Based on the MY of the TCU it should be 191701.
According to the post, this TCU has probably been reflashed with MY02 software (193263).
A connexion to a SD2 will allow you to know for sure what version is inside.

I'll get Steve at Prova Motori to pull the SW version with the Leonardo when he gets the transmission back in the car.
