Tcu upgrade Ferrari 360

Hey guys found tcu number 193263 off a 2002 spider mines a early 2000 model .. is this plug and play ? Looking to get better shifting out of the box heard the newer model is a ton better for the clutch as well and over all funner to drive

 

It is plug in but you may need to have it set up for your particular throw out bearing position and clutch wear height. It is true that the later TCUs work better. But they all work best when set up properly. This can be done by an independent but they will need the right diagnostic software. I use an SDX and a Galileo, They may be others, I just don't use anything else.

 

Thanks heaps for the reply man mines the 1999/2000 one it’s ok but I want more aggressive shifts I can get the 2002 one for bout 1400aud about 900-1000usa I probably would go to my local Ferrari dealer once installed get them to set it up plus it’s 2 streets away makes life even easier
