    I am looking for TDF 0731GT. I have checked all info on this site plus many more. The last information states the the car was sold from a Wes Clark in Texas to the original owner J. F. Malle in France around 1989-1996. Mr Malle has aperently passed away a few months ago but some of my French friends state that he never repurchased this car. Any help out there as to this cars location.

    I wish I could help you out, last I heard of it was with Wes Clark, however, I would imagine that you have already tried contacting him. Would love to see some pictures if you manage to track her down.

    There is a photo of 0731 from the Sportscar Auction of Geneva, May 5 1989 in Cavallino #25 on page 35 (I do not have that issue). Perhaps there is some mention of whether the car was sold and to whom in that issue. If you have any success finding this picture, please let me know as I too have been looking for more info on this TdF, especially during its racing days.

    No, page 35 of Cavallino #25 has NO photos at all. And that issue dates from the year 1985, not 1989. Wrong information!

    Could someone let me know the original color of the interior of chassis 0731 GT? Does someone possibly have an image of the back of the car when the gentlemen André Simon and Jean Aumas participated in the 1957 Tour de France Automobile?
