Jesus. I just about shed a tear at the site of the TDF car. It always has been my favorite color on Fcars. But, this just took it to another level. NEW SHORTS PLEASE!
Well maybe different. Once upon a time when you could not afford a real convertible you got the roof instead painted a different color from the body color. Then along came the 'vinyl' top; sort of a simulated convertible look. I can see the matte finish gray roof working on the 599 as it has become a sort of 'trademark' for the GTO model but a gloss roof sort of looks like the buyer couldn't decide which color he wanted the car painted. Full credit for going with TdF as it is a very honest color that continues to be very popular. With the Pozzi Blu you are not quite sure what the color will look like. It all depends on the lighting. The lack of stripes on both cars does give a very clean look to them. However with all these dual tone GTO's built; the version that would stand out is the one painted a solid color. A real sleeper until you heard it. CH
That is very close to eclipsing the Black Enzo as the world's most beautiful car. Amazing! Just became my background on the computer.
The first car is TdF Blu and the second car is a different color - Pozzi Blu. They are not the same car; note the different interior colors on the dash for each one. CH
Pretty sure they are pics of the same car and it's Blu Scozia not Pozzi or TdF. The dash in both cars looks to be black with Cuoio as the main cabin colour. Notice the little green window sticker in the same place and in both shots the car is missing the wheel centre caps. The same pics were posted on another forum along with more shots of the car. Here are a couple of those pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I used to own a pozzi car, and the color is as in the picture. The car usually takes on a very different shade once in the sun, and under low light it almost goes black. Thats why I was double checking to see if I can get some clarification. TDF is a very sparkly color...would easily be noticed. Anyways....the car is a monster...please keep us informed with more pics internal and external of this incredible car. Thanks MJ
Came very, very close to ordering Pozzi or Blu Scozzi with matt grey roof. Did several hours at Atelier trying to decide using different combos inside/out. In the flesh and on this specific car, it seemed to me it needed a "white" stripe or accent to make it really pop--but as you note they are fantastic colors, esp in the sun, where both offer very different looks than in dark. As for TdF, its a very, very nice look on a big 12 like my 550 but it didn't seem "aggressive or nasty" enough for the gto. In the end, I chose nero daytona with a matt grey roof--sinister but still not too flashy. Added carbon mirrors in place of painted-- But as these pics show, the other options were a damn nice as well... Congrats to both!
Both colors are stunning. I don't think you can find a color on that car that wouldn't take your breath away. I really want to see one in Bianco Fuji.
I built a Pozzi single tone/crema in the configurator with an Avorio stripe. I think that's the way I'll be going. The dark colors seem to ask for a stripe.
BEAUTIFUL!! I absolutely LOVE that Pozzi Blue one. I'm not a fan of Pozzi blue, but on THAT car... -G.B.
