I was much happier with the finish/quality of the paint on the TDF compared to the Spec Aperta. However I decided it should be paint corrected and coated with opticoat to ensure the finish was at its best prior to the application of xpel paint protection film. Glad I did as the end result demonstrated the value of this even on a generally well finished car from the factory.

Stunning ! I am quite surprised the intensity of the color changes that much after correction.

I have noticed that the intensity of Rosso Mugello is especially susceptible to light. Here are two shots of RC vs RM in the sun vs the shade a few minutes later when the clouds rolled in.

Surprisingly good before pictures! Both cars are stunning keepers. One must be careful with Ferrari paint. Will scratch just looking hard at it!

Just went through the photos of the correction in the link for a third time. Simply amazing. I actually wanna do my F12 now. How long did the job take?

Can anyone here refer someone who would do the same quality work in LA?

OMG what beauties! Congratulations on having a really special pair of cars! You are not kidding at all about the paint and lighting. The RC stays about the same but the RM really looks different depending on the lighting. Either way, my goodness, my mouth fell to the desk as I was looking at the TDF detail pics. Just a total beautiful car.

To Tupps11, I am sure there are a ton of amazing detailers in LA. I would just search in the California regional section.

Thanks. Took about 2 days including application of the Opticoat. The Aperta however was in such bad state that was a 4 day job.

Good for you! Lovely to see owners who use their cars. Bravo!

Would love to see pics and hear a review of the TDF on track.

Stunning but the only negative is makes you realise what an abomination and design after thought the exhaust tip carbon surrounds are, not integral and clearly they panicked at surrounds melting or people getting burnt. So Ferrari !

The paint correction looks just phenomenal. Hard to believe.

But the exhaust surround is perhaps the weakest part of the design. Hard to understand what they were thinking or doing.
