Any folks headed to the FCA Monterey meet can have their cars pre-teched here at Moorespeed in Austin. The organizers called us and asked if we would be their official tech center for the Austin area, and of course we will help out. I have not rec'd their official tech forms for us to use yet. But will let all know when we do. After which time appointments will be taken for tech inspections. I'm sure it's similar to what we already use for various clubs in central Texas. I do know for sure "NO" motorcycle helmets. Helmets have to be SA95 or newer and you must bring with for tech. David Moore www.moorespeed.com
Yup, FCA was asking all Chapter presidents for names of top local shops who could do tech. Of course, I said "Moorespeed!!!!!"...

They need to put the street sign back up at Theo and Airport Drive...I missed it 'cuz it was GONE! Got a glimpse of the logo, so I turned. There's some d@mn rude drivers in Austin since I last lived there! HONK, HONK, HONK!!! That's all I heard..lol

Just rec'd the tech inspection forms. Please note, if you are going to this event, No ethelyne glycol. We will have to flush the system for you and install Redline Water Wetter and water. We do this all the time with watercooled race cars and it actually cools better and has the necessary corrosion protection. d
