Does anyone know what the cylinder diameter that is used to shift gears on the F1 transmission? What is the hydraulic pressure used?

    Thanks,

The pressure has a range of, if I recall correctly, about 500 to 900 lbs. It will operate down to about 300 but the system will shut down before it gets that low. It has an accumulator and a pump. The pump is controlled by pressure switches to maintain that pressure range in the accumulator.

The cylinder diameter is quite small. I do not believe it is given in any technical information but something on the order of half inch. It has been some time since I have seen one far enough apart to see.
