The perhaps most interesting Maserati on the biggest classic car show was this 3500GT, chassis #040, a 2-owners car. Unfortunately it had a non-matching-no.`s engine installed but otherwise the car was great!
Note the single (!) window in the doors.

Does not appear to be the same car. Walter's photo shows a car without the vent window.
Red is not the best color for a 3500GT; I wonder if either of these two cars left the factory as a red car.

You are right, Ivan. I was too quick, please apologize. These are different cars. Additionally, mine has a red dashboard whereas Walter' s has a black one.

Looking through the long list of pics taken, I found a photo of the Suisse-based 150 kEuro Khamsin mentioned above, see attached.

Meanwhile I remember also one or two Meraks I saw on my quick tour yesterday. Last but not least I forgot to mention the nice booth of the German Maserati Club with several highlights exposed.

Nice looking car. The side windows are interesting. I agree with Ivan that red is not a great color for these.

That's odd for a car with such long term ownership. Any idea of the reason, Walter?

Thanks for the report, Thomas. I hope he gets his price. :)

no idea why the engine is not there anymore and a non-matching motor is installed. Probably because it was damaged etc....?

I was told the Khamsin at Lucas Hüni`s stand was not correctly restored in some aspects (interior etc.).

Walter: The car shown in post No. 3 is AM 101792, offered for 159.000 Euro.

Walter and Graeme: Regarding the grey Khamsin I spoke to the Hüni-Salesman and he told me that they changed some parts of the interior door panels that were originally some sort of fabric into leather. Furthermore they added a new stainless steel exhaust and a new paint, Grigio Flemington, the original colour was Marrone. According to the salesman all other is original. There were approx. 60.000 km on the odometer, when I visited the car on Friday. Finally the salesman said, if they don' t get a good price they will keep the car and add it to the Hüni private collection. I will attach some more pics of this car.

thanks for the pics. have never seen this Mexico here in Berlin before.
Guess it was hidden in a garage somewhere. Good to know there are 4 of us in the city now.

Anybody know the colour of this one? looks great.

Attached some more Maseratis at Techno Classica.
Was most amazed by one stand selling old instruction manuals and brochures incl. old
    Maserati postcards from the 50s, a manual for a 300s, 5000GT etc

was interested in the keychain just before i found out it is an original from the 50s costing 500€

the rubino rosso Mexico was a one owner car, completely restored and the seller was asking 139.000€ for it. quite impressive.

how come noone has mentioned the beautiful A6G with the Pininfarina body yet? too obvious?

    all the best

Is this A6G with PF body the real thing ie was born like this with this particular body? There were so many changes between chassis and bodies on this small series...
