Nice exploit for MacOS, which has now been patched https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208315 The amusing part is someone casually posted the exploit 2 weeks ago on their forums as a fix for another problem but Apple only patched it after it made the news. https://forums.developer.apple.com/thread/79235#277225
Finally....a deadline met https://www.techly.com.au/2017/11/24/tesla-officially-finishes-building-worlds-largest-lithium-ion-battery-south-australia/
The cells don't come from the gigafactory they come from Samsung (Tesla partnership is with Panasonic). It's easy to meet a deadline when others are doing the work
Haha it's even worst then I thought. They aren't in a a partnership with Panasonic they are just a supplier.
Gee these iPhone are good.....not.... If you’re using an iPhone you can use Tap & Pay by purchasing a PayTag via the CommBank app. A one-off fee of $2.99 will apply. How to use your PayTag Once your CommBank PayTag arrives, you’ll need to attach it to your device. Stick the PayTag directly on the back of your phone towards the bottom. Placing it in this area ensures you can Tap & Pay first time, every time. If you have a phone cover, the PayTag will work underneath the cover, but you can also stick the PayTag on the outside of your phone cover too if you like. How do I set up Tap & Pay? Step 1: Open an Everyday Account or use your existing account or credit card Step 2: Download the CommBank app on your iPhone Step 3: Stick the PayTag directly on the back of your phone. Select the top left hand main menu, select Settings > App Settings > Tap & Pay and follow the instructions.
What a load of total BS. I’ve been using Apple Pay on my iphone for months, using my fingerprint as the signature. ie. WAY better and more secure than a PIN. It works seamlessly with the wallet on the phone and requires nothing at all to be attached. And is totally FREE. Maybe you should bank with ANZ (or any of the other banks with this system) instead of stupid, tired old CBA?
Well surely that’s a reflection on the bank, not the phone? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes it is. Some banks have had Apple Pay for many, many months, yet have only just now introduced android pay. Does that mean android phones are rubbish? Of course not.
Sigh What it means is that Samsung, for example, allows others to access their hardware. Apple does not. Does it mean that iPhone are rubbish? It means apple are rubbish as far as I'm concerned. I can't access dictation from SwiftKey as another example. Why not? Same damn reason!
This was in the Technology section of the paper, I think the microwave is cleverer that the prankster... http://www.news.com.au/technology/online/prankster-nearly-dies-after-cementing-head-in-microwave/news-story/bfa40b2abdcbb326e3b8b76700d77b7f
Slightly cheaper than a track car and all associated costs, I've gone down the VR route to have fun driving. Oculus Rift headset, fanatec steering wheel and pedals, lots of good racing simulators to be played. I love living in the future. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steve's very quiet about this. http://www.couriermail.com.au/technology/all-apple-iphones-macs-tablets-are-affected-by-computer-chip-security-flaws-company-confirms/news-story/86b311f61b72f9709c01e0a8a74bc88f
