Not now, but something like this WILL have to happen in the future. I *think* HK has already eliminated the EV grant (they are already very popular). And the fuel tax is a huge chunk of cash that will have to be replaced somehow.

Jalopnik have it wrong. An air leak on the intake side would make it run lean, not rich but the o2 sensors on the exhaust would detect lean condition that and the injection system would (try to) compensate for that by dumping in more fuel.

 

How do I formally complain about PayPal?

Had something interesting happen to me today which I haven’t experienced before.

I was driving along the motorway today with Google Maps on.

It was a straight section of road when suddenly my phone “said” “Speed Trap ahead.”

Sure enough 30 seconds or so later there was a speed camera van on the side of the road.

I don’t use Google Maps very often, so I was wondering, is this something new? How long has this been going on for?

 

It’s the new “Moretti” feature.

Are are you people so mean to Moretti? he genuinly seems like a nice fellow....although i have never seen him in person..or his picture...except the one i posted with the bunny ears...but he had his eyes blured...and eyes are very important.....except if you're a moul.....

I had two Apps open Pat

One was Google Maps for directions, the other was Speedometer for my speed.

I was on a Samsung device with Android.

I'm pretty certain Google Maps gave me the warning. I rarely use Google Maps but I use Speedometer on the highway nearly every time and I've never heard it give a warning.

I will be on the highway again tomorrow and if I see a speed camera van I will try and duplicate what happened. Certainly not something I would rely on, just never had it happen before.

Or I could do a Moretti. And get 2 speeding tickets.

Once when I go past the first time and a second when I go past again to test.

 

Apparently the latest upgrade to maps has a few waze features, including being able to crowd source police, accidents, and road works. Only available in Australia and two other countries - we must be the beta testers
