True. I got up this morning and the bloody thing paired to my iPad straight away. *shakes head* Still can’t get it to talk to the laptop though. That can be a job for tomorrow.
I find it’s best not to think much about it at all, and next thing you know you’re taxiing in to the apron...
I put Battery powered mowers in the same category as battered cars... there only half way there. https://www.blackwoodsxpress.com.au/blog/ego-mower?utm_source=promo_email&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=ptb_18&utm_term=ego&utm_content=ptb_18_week4blog_ego&dm_i=35MQ,TFHE,5RN8E3,31DBC,1
Predictably, I have an electric (battery) mower. It's quiet. It's powerful. It's light. I'm thrilled with it. I have a battery powered line edger and whipper snipper too. Happy with them for the same reasons.
I am really digging this guys videos, best advertising he can get, he really gets involved and is hands on owner. RF tracking is the next step up from just GSM/GPS tracking, 98% recovery rate, customer fits the device where s/he wants [don't just leave it on the dash/ashtray ] most likely why its not 100%. I have messaged him and he has had interest in setting up in Australia, one of you dudes may be interested in being his agent/customer. The way the key was cloned and copied is rather alarming, keyless entry and starting is a crok of s/hit, what the hell are the manufactures doing, is using a key so difficult? LOL, crooks put a steering lock on the car they stole! ENJOY!
Push bikes aren’t my thing, that’s why I have cars, but this is clever tech, be interesting to know if it actually makes production, the only issue I see is the driven cluster needs more support or it will flex.
I know you bunch are very knowledgeable... Here goes: I have a remote external blind control (no switch at the wall) for my house. If I want to be able to control the blind remotely from say from my office, what is the best way. I read a bit about house automation but hard to gauge how or if there is any devices that can do the above.. Any advice from you wise bunch will be appreciated!

Yep use a microcontroller called a particle photon which is a cloud based microcontroller and download an app called blynk. There are heaps of examples on the internet that will allow you to cut a paste a code to do exactly what you are wanting. I have automated heaps using this microcontroller and blynk. Or you can use a Raspberry Pi as well
