I'm doing a ~2500 mile road trip in the next few weeks and am wondering about putting some sort of temporary film over some of the carbon bits in the cabin and potentially the door mirrors too.

I've seen XPEL Tracwrap which on the face of it looks ok, but they warn not to use it on Porsche headlights because it can cause delamination...

Has anyone done this before and is there a product that doesn't look terrible (doesn't have to look amazing...) and comes off again ok?

You’ll be fine with Trak wrap or PPF on carbon fiber parts and body - it’s only a Porsche headlight thing when it comes to delaminating.
