Hello everyone, I started working on the orders. I was waiting for a sample material and it finally arrived. Boy I like this stuff. It is an outdoor fabric with a nice rich weave texture, just a touch of sheen and, most importantly, is waterproof. I tested it under the faucet and it performed flawlessly. The price is very similar to Sunbrella. I will post pictures by the weekend. I will make MY own top with this material and I will adopt it as my choice fabric for the tops. The people that have sent a deposit and/or paid in full, can have this or the Sunbrella as I have ordered both but I like the looks and the fact that this new stuff is actually waterproof. I will pm all the people that have place an order. These tops are going to look good!!!! Gianluca

Re-looking at the posts I have to agree with you. The posts have taken a commercial tone. I sincerely do appreciate the opportunity to have been allowed to carry on with the post. I will still post final pictures and matters of technical interest as well as a final list and preferences for every buyer. I am exploring the possibility to become a sponsor as well. As of right now, I would like to ask the other member to contact me directly or PM me for any "commercial" issues regarding the tops. I wanted to start sending some out by this week. Of course, DHL lost my shipment of fabric and the binding was the wrong thickness. Other than that everything is proceding well Seriously, the above really happened. I have already put in a new order for the fabric and today the correct binding will be shipped therefore by this coming week I should start sending some out. Gianluca
Hi everyone. Here is an update. All the tops are ready except for the binding (the edging). Was sent the wrong binding and I wanted to see the actual samples before I committed to another order. The binding will be here on Tuesday. I would guess that by Thursday I will could send them out. My apologies for the delay. (fabric was lost by shipper too but eventually did come in).
