I'm going to adapt a C4 'Vette targa cover for my 348. I need to plan out the placement of the Tenax fastener buttons for the cover. I see two Tenax fastener studs total at the opposite upper corners of the rear bulkhead on the car. Are there supposed to be more?

Are all Tenax fasteners the same size? I can buy them as cheap as a few dollars apiece, but the horsey ones are a crazy $65 each.

Do a search. I had a thread where I found them from Eagle something-or-other in florida. $5 each. Buy the tool for $5.

Are you going to adapt a folding soft top?

Thanks Clyde, I did do a search. That's how I know that they're called Tenax fasteners, and that I can buy them for a few dollars apiece. Pretty sure snap-ring pliers will work as well if I don't get the special tool.

Thanks, already saw that. Found another source. Looks like it's a single standard size.

No, just the vinyl cover for the stock top to keep it from getting scuffed. It doesn't have the Tenax snaps to hold it to the bulkhead.

    Thanks, Vinny!

Yes, pointy pliers (like hemostats) will work. Yes the little tool is a little pricey for a piece of metal. But it works rather than have pliers slip. my .02.
