    I am in need of left and right tension springs for the door lock. It is the small circular spring in the photo. The last time I got them it was from GT Car Parts but they have no more. Anybody have a source??? Image Unavailable, Please Login

    The last time I needed one, I had to make it by winding my own spring.

    Check McMaster Carr under 'Torsion Spring' You can get different deflection angles and there is tons of selection. I'm sure something will they have will work.

    Might be able to repurpose a throttle return or choke torsion spring if you get desperate.

    The only problem, is that I will be traveling on the 1st, and I do not know if I can meet the deadline.

    Springs, voila...:)

    Funny guy that makes them, as I told Jon, "they are for a Mercedes, right?" .
    No, they are for a Dino, a cheap FIAT, reply: "what is that?"
    Mercedes prices...

    Anyhow, made 10 of each, as I can use 4, Jon needs 4, so that leaves 12.
