Terra Bruciata vs. Cuoio

    I just placed an order for an F8 Tributo which the dealer said should be approved by the factory sometime in Oct/Nov and delivery early next year. I’m really torn between the interior colors Terra Bruciata and Cuoio. My 430 was cuoio and I always thought it looked different in different lighting, like almost beige in direct sunlight and orange brown in the garage. When I saw the leather samples at the dealer I thought TB looked way too dark brown, almost chocolate brown, while cuoio looked just right, the shade of dark tan I am looking for. But I saw a few pictures of TB before and I thought it looked pretty good, more richer looking than cuoio. Can anyone post any pictures of their Terra Bruciata interior or give their opinion between the two colors. Thanks in advance!

    The problem with Cuoio is the variation in the Hyde over the years, you just can’t be totally certain which Cuoio your gonna get. I did my entire F8 in Cuoio and was slightly disappointed with it, not exactly what I was looking for..too light for me..no richness I was looking for. I’d definitely go with Terra…

    Thought the Cuio in my 458 too was too striking and too standing out. Changed the interior in F8 to TB.

    My Cali had Cuoio. It has a little more orange undertone. Beige Tradizione is a very clean look. A true tan color

    TB and Tortora mix on our 812 GTS - it’s really lovely. Had Cuoio on Lusso, nice too but the TB with Daytona seats on our GTS gave the 1970’s vibe we wanted.

    Wow, that is stunning. I love the color of the carpet, it really does pay homage to the 70's Ferrari

    On my computer screen this photo of cuoio looks pretty color true. I have cuoio on my grigio titanio 458 spider.
    I agree that red exteriors seem to colorize cuoio a bit.

    This is Terra, think it’s richer than Cuoio. Obviously on this SF90 there is a lot of carbon/black so it’s more of an accent. But I’m happy with the way it came out.

    This shows how alcantara takes the colors and mutes certain aspects.

    This option is great Cuoio alcantara. Makes it special, mutes the yellow and distinctive.

    To me Cuoio changed and picked up a ?yellow hue? At some point.

    Beige tradizione is a cleaner but without the edge.

    Here are some other options
    1 Connelly Cuoio. Still available. Atelier.
    2 Cuoio semianiline
    3 Cuoio toscana. Below. Very nice and not yellow

    What is your exterior?! In Italian, cuoio simply translates into leather , which suggests it's un tanned and in it's natural state. Terra means the earth and bruciate means burnt, hence the darker / smokier look. My 458 is triple black, but my past Masi MC Cabrio, had nero carbonio w/ cuoio and here's a few pics.
    The last pic was taken @ a shooting of Will Castro's Unique Rides episode, that featured a car show outside while they were working inside. Mine was the only Masi chosen to represent. ;)

    I thought I would conclude the thread I started with a picture of my F8 I just took delivery of last month. I’m really happy with my choice of Terra Bruciata seats with cuoio carpets. It’s not as popular as cuoio but I think it was a nice change.

    Most colours photograph different. It’s one of those things where you truly have to be there in person to see it.
