Besides him blocking by being slow, he had a few chances to get around him, and actually was slower than the 'lead' car in several corners. All of them need to up their game :)

I don't race, what's wrong with the driving?

To me, it seems he wasn't good enough to pass. The blue car passed both of them.

From what I see, the car in front was clearly slower than the camera car. Etiquette should have had the slower driver allowed the camera car to pass. I could be mistaken though.

There were a few times were it looked like the driver ahead wasn't letting the camera car pass, he went wide one corner then when camera car was passing, he hit the apex.

I agree, there were more than one chances he could have passed.

That gentleman didn't seem to pleased with how things were going. :)
I thought it was hilarious how easily the blue car passed them both.

That was awful, his "technique" is just terrible. This is clearly illustrated by how easily blue got around both of them. Though, I have seen much worse driving from Challenge drivers, there is a relatively well known driver in the Challenge series, who uses his car almost like weapon. He is just a bully and nothing more. There are former drivers in the challenge series here, that have witnessed his bullying style first hand.

Those of us who've spent time in multi-class race series know all too well the tragedy of the guy whose car is fast in a straight line, but apparently in "limp mode" through the corners. Driving smaller engined formula cars in SCCA, I used to dread the guy in the slow Atlantic.

The video didn't shock me, either.

As for bullies, IMO there's really only one way to deal with them, if the series won't act. Expensive solution in a Ferrari series, though.

Wonder which bully you are refering to??!

Anyway..driving from that video is totally normal. I'm amazed that camera car didn't just punt the #8 in front of him. Those silly Italians..

Reading some of your threads and posts I believe you've had direct dealings with him but, yes, there is more than one. Its rather sad actually, for a series the advertises it self as a gentlemen's racing series, sometimes it seems there are few enforcements to keep it that way.

Yes I agree Stefano should have passed him on several occasions in racing battle.

This however was a car that had been into the pits and was under blue flags, that is nor cool at all. Especially consideing that he appeared to be deliberately trying to make sure that he held up the car behind.

Agreed, both were in the wrong and driving with little regard to sportsmanship .

wow, in SCCA we call that 'the more money than brains (or talent)' crowd. they both need to spend sometime back at racing school 101.

Info seems a little confusing. In one place it says that they were battling for second spot. Then again if the slower car were in the pits and being lapped, he should have been black flagged for that kind of driving.

As for our 360 Challenge bully, there is only one driver whose reputation preceded himself. I was warned about him a full YEAR before I started in the series. For the time I spent on the track, he was a little rough and nudged a couple drivers out of the way with a couple of uncalled for "bump and spins". I actually went up to him at my first race and introduced myself. I also said I'd recognize his car in my rearview mirror and if he wanted to pass, I'd be sure to point. I never had a problem with him.

Really struggling with the "bully" concept. I heard stories about a Challenge driver who was "connected," so to speak, and who was apparently a major jerk. Never met this guy, never been on track with him. But a guy like that would lose his attitude or his car very quickly in the real world of racing.
