I was in St. Louis on business last week and was told to eat "on the Hill" for good Italian food. Dominic's was recommended. I travel a great deal and eat in some very fine restaurants, but I have to say that Dominic's was a standout; one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever eaten in. I was completely surprised.

Service was fantastic, there were 5 of us, two had veal scallopine (different versions), one had a veal chop, another scallops, and I had suppa di pesce (fish soup) all were pleased. Had zabaglione for dessert, too.

It would make a good place for a Ferrari gathering. I was impressed.

Glad your pallet had a good time in our fair city! Yes, the Hill has some fantastic restaurants. One of my favs is a little place called Mama Campisi's - WOW! Our local F-club participates in the Hill Days Parade every year and we have a blast. The folks on the Hill are terrific.

Mama Campisi's was also recommended. Didn't have time to make it there. Ate at Al's (terrific steak, great service, but a strange place), St. Louis Seafood (or Fish) Company which had good food but awful service. I really, REALLY liked Dominic's.

I used to go to St. Louis all the time, but out at McDonnell Douglas, so Kreis's and Dierdorff and Hart's were my usual stops. First time on the Hill. The front man at Dominic's was unbelievably helpful. Looked like there was enough safe parking across the street for a Ferrari event.
