Test Slow Down Probes and System

Is there a way to test the slowdown lights on a 308 other that removing the probes and heating them up beyond 1700°F ?

I have new Hyper-Flow CATS installed and have re-installed the probes. The lights on the Dash come on at engine start for about 3-4 Sec. but as I understand it, that just checks the computers.

Is there a way to cause the slowdown lights to come on under a controlled condition? Maybe a ground or something which makes the system sense an overheat condition and activate the lights?
