I don't know what you mean by looks right, But I had to replace mine also and wasn't about to pay $400.00 for a piece of foam. I went to a local speed shop and bought a roll of engine bay insulation (felt like on one side and a aluninum foil look on the other. I also bought some high heat spray adhesive. It took about two hours to do and I spent about $50.00. In my opinion and all of my friends it looks 10 times better than the original. Obviously it's not Concours correct, but it look great and I saved $450.00. Hope this helps.....Charlie

Eurospares are great guys... but if you want OEM parts expect prices...

With that said, save big $$$ and use Dynamat. They have been in business for many, many years and have various solutions.

I have all the original interior that I removed from my 1987 TR, including the soundproofing that was applied to the rear "bulkhead", (interior sound deadening under the carpet on the wall and shelf behind the seats that seperates the cockpit from the engine compartment................If you need that sound deadening piece, it is yours for the cost of shipping. If need be I can take a pix to be sure it is the item you are looking for. Check this link also for perhaps another option to your sound deadening question http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=98940.....By using the materials I describe in the link I lowered the sound level, especially road noise by 20 db overall, It is wonderful and has not only made the interior a much more comfortable enviroment, but truly has made the TR seem even more opulent and "high end". Every person that has riden or driven it since the new sound deadening has been installed has been astounded at the difference in the "sound level" or should I say lack there of...............Granted a bit of the engine sound was subdued but now without the road noise the engine is even more pronounced, by not having to "compete" with the road noise!..... Please contact me direct if interested in the OEM piece(s) I have or if you have any questions about the interior that I may be able to help you with............. at [email protected]
