The previous owner told me, but I can't remember. It's 3 letters, something like GWT. If you're interested, I can check. And, it's a 1990 car.
Hi ! I'm louis from France (Marseille) and I'm the proud owner of this beauty: 79310, '89 euro testa Rosso corsa 300/9, Nero
Could you put a picture ... ? Would be interesting to have a local french registry. I know of black Testas in the 85, 84, 40, 74, 01, 78, 58, 69, 38, 51 and 33. And mine in the 92. Which makes it 12. (These are region numbers in France). Never tried to list the Reds. Yellows are quite scarce. Could be a holiday thing to do, unfortunately my holidays are just over...
91 Swiss spec, no. 91626, red with black interior. Bought 16 months ago, undergoing restoration in Dubai, UAE.
Adding my 'Darkhorse' to the registry... S/N 64537 - Nero Metallizato/Crema. '86 Single Mirror. US version w/ 288 GTO wheels. 2,000 miles. California car, now in San Diego. Here she is on delivery day (Nov 17, 2010) with a layer of dust on it but a big smile on my face. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Think you got spotted in North County recently. A guy who works at a shop I visit will always report on the Testarossas he sees. Last week he said that he'd seen a black one, "very nice, very clean." I'm not exactly sure what that implies about the condition of mine...
Honestly I'm kind of paranoid about having personal data freely out on the web. And yes I know that it may be far too late to worry about that in this day and age. But at the same time I'm really fascinated by the great information collected on this site, including your own contributions. This is especially interesting when it comes to the lower production number cars, and when it helps identify cut-off points for various design changes. I promise that if it leaves my hands I'll put up all the gory details. I'm not sure how much a single data point matters for a high production car like the Testarossa, but being a non-red color I figure it would contribute to understanding the more subtle details of its production run.
Yeah, I took her out for a long run about a week ago. Did he happen to notice if it was a single mirror? If so, it was almost certainly mine.
Bring you car to our 2nd TR Pissa gathering on September 24th, 2011. Small group that has doubled in a very short time. www.prancingthunder.com
Yeah I thought about that after the fact. Though I'm not sure that the more subtle differences stand out to the casual observer like they would to us. I've asked in the past whether a spotted car was a 512TR, because I know there are a couple around here, but I think that takes a bit more of a trained eye to catch. I would have thought such a rare combination would be unique in San Diego as well, but I hear more and more about less common colors and models lurking around North County, so who knows. I personally haven't seen another Testarossa on the road in probably a decade. Next time I'm in there I'll bring up some of the pictures from your recent photoset at Mira Costa to see if he can ID it, though admittedly there's not as much of the car shown in those.
Hi Martin, they also would like to know colour and VIN. Manage Attachments ...> Upload File from your Computer Gr from Mel in NL (Europe) [email protected]
Here is mine #85836 1990 Testarossa, Blu Sera with Crema seats and Black dash/carpet USA model located in CA Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I've owned it for only about two months now. It must have been its previous owner, a guy from LA I was told by the dealership. Actually I don't know much about the car's past, other than service history, anybody knows this car? Testarossa 85836
Hey Mel, if that is a pic your car, with the cutie pie in the seat, and yours is a '92 (ie;not an M)what's the deal with the flag emblem on the ash try lid?
