    Hi, guys, anyone interested in having their Testarossa's hood made out of carbon fiber? I have a great composite fiber guy who is doing that for my rossa and will be posting pictures when its done. I can give out his contact info for anyone interested.

    Looks great. I can’t tell if full carbon or if overlay work.

    If you’re making similar for your testarossa, be weary of the rear deck lid….it’s an extremely complex large shape. The 512TR uses a much simplified design but the lower engine placement means it does not swap on the original testarossa.

    The front is much easier but limited weight savings vs cost.

    There was a carbon glass engine cover that was made in a limited run (aftermarket), but didn’t sell very well. You can still buy on occasion at often reasonable $ (relative to the development/production cost):

    The hood will be made from a mold with the correct dimensions plus trimmed and clear coated. Also, thanks for the advice and like Auraraptor.
