Hello every one I have an 88 Testarossa that had an over heating problem. I found that the radiator cap was bad and that both fan motor fuses were blown. I replaced the cap and two twenty amp fuses, and ran the car. It held a good temperature and everything was working good. Just to check the fan motors ,because of the fuses, I put an amp meter inline and noticed that one fan took roughly twelve amps and the other about sixteen. They have a twenty amp fuse and just wonder what the acceptable draw should be for the fan motors.
I also wonder about the resistances for the water temperature sensors at the radiator and near the intake. Thanks for the help.
