    i seem to have fibrelass/ plastic door gloveboxes on my 89 euro testarossa and ones got a chunk removed ,so i ordered a new one from ferrari arrived in a yellow box etc and it came metal with leather covering, which one is correct, i presume the new ones correct and the fibreglass is a reproduction.... cheers Ross

    Can you post a pic, I'm a bit confused what you are asking. Do you mean the lids of the dash glove box or the center console lid or the tubs?

    On the interior of the doors, [ferrari uk call them door glove boxes] i would call them door pockets, handy to put a map, sweets etc in.about 10 inches long,from ferrari in a genuine box but different from both in my car.cheers ross

    Dear Ferraristi,

    Ah...Ok....

    The "map pockets" are made of a molded plastic on my 91 Testarossa. They are very prone to warping inwards due to heat and age. I replaced both of mine at a ridiculous $400.00 each from the F pimp. This was about 3 years ago...I don't know if it's still available.

    Oh....don't try to pull out the warp....I did and a big chunk came off in my hand and suddenly got a very large headache..... :D

    To pull them out, press at the centers ( on the length) , slightly inwards and slide upwards.

    when i brought the car it had 2 plastic type on it, one with a bite.... taken out of it and ordered a new one from ferrari and this metal with leather covering arrived, and unfortuently have no more in stock so £200 spent and got 2 odd ones, nice..if i order from ricambi have no idea if it will turn up plastic or a metal and leather type. oh well
