    Hello

Has anyone changed their glove box switch button before ? Do I have to remove the console ? Or I just remove the switch button ? What's the best way to replace this switch button ? Thanks

Yes I have removed and cleaned my 87 TR switch. You can carefully remove the switch from the console. I posted a photo of disassembly on this TR forum. I not too compute lit, but if you do search on here it is available. look under ago car nut posts. I also removed and cleaned the window switches and the inst. dimmer. A big difference in operation after cleaning.

I had to change my 2 small ECU's that control the thermo couples for the cool down lights to stop going nutZ. Expensive at 700 or so x2 plus labor, but it worked. Haven't had a false warning since!!

Thanks everyone , so looks like I could remove the switch without dismantling the console Which is good news. I will try it ..

I don't think I need to change them. When I wiggle the connector, the buzzer and light turns off. It's a common problem.
