My baby is home! I can't believe I have to work right now & am not out driving! Just a few more hours & I get to go back home. 1988.5 Chiaro/Crema Testarossa, 2600 Miles - Everything is brand new! Thanks to my wife for letting me buy this! I can die a very happy man. Now I am in the process of finding a good home for the 328 - The side is a bit dirty as it rained here on Saturday. Looks like you have twins there in your garage, separated at birth! Enjoy driving her tonight, and let us all hear about it! - Julie
Jerry, Congrats!!! Must feel good to finally have her home. She looks delicious! Love the side-profile pic and the one of both of them in the garage together. Lovely.
Loved the color! By the way, how many HP does the TR has vs. 512 TR? Sorry too lasy to look up on in internet.
Thanks Jimmy. From what I can tell from this site : http://www.ferrariturbo.com, the numbers are as follows : TR = 390 bhp 512TR = 428 bhp 0-60 Times : TR - 5.3 seconds 512 TR - 4.7 seconds
GORGEOUS! totally beautiful color. i'd very much love to hear a comparison of the 328 and TR. obviously it's a big difference, but given that they're both mid-engines, i'd be interested to hear your comments. doody.
Hi Doody! Thanks for the kind words. Thanks again for looking at that 355 for me - Very much appreciated! Give me a week & I will give you my driving impressions of them both. From the 10 minutes I drove it today, there is a big difference - Both great cars, but very different also.
Jerry, Congrats You must be on cloud nine!! Beautiful Color combo too. She looks Brand New! It must be comforting to know everything's up-to-date and ready to fly.. Have a "Buonasera" Ciao
Graet looking car! Very clean.....even the engine compartment. Now all you need are 18" wheels..LOL!! Enjoy.
As a fellow TR lover....all I can say is....(mouth hanging open - drooling)...that car is absolutely gorgeous! Just stunning. Congradulations!
At the risk of sounding repetitive, that thing truly does look fantastic. Also, the engine compartment is so immaculate! It looks like it has been VERY well cared for. It's pictures like these that make me wonder why TRs have such low market prices. Enjoy!
Thanks 6.0 - I also saw pics of your Countach today - Gorgeous! Jimmy - I would keep them both if I could!! ecadwell - I too don't know why TR prices are so low, but I'm thankful for it! tork - New rims would be nice (I think these are only 16's, right?). I think first I want to save for a Capristo exhaust. I heard it on Jeffrey's (A Californian F-Chatter) 360 & it is incredible - He has the racing version.
