Testarossa Odometer Not Working Advice?

Hey I just want to say thanks to Mike for his photo's of the Testarossa PCB. I had a client with a burnt out ODO PCB and the photo's helped me redesign the board. I thought I might post here with what I've done. If it interests anyone in need I have a few extra boards I've printed, I have ordered all new components minus the 92967 as I believe Mike now holds the remaining stock. Thanks for all your groundwork on these somewhat fragile boards for the odometers, I also have a bad one, as applying 3v to motor adds miles no problem. I've found no repair folks who'll guarantee a fix, as you may have sourced only fix. Do let me know if you have any left to sell to me after all this time!

Curious about all the hula hoop jumping in this thread to repair an odo. I simply sent mine to Palo Alto speedo at http://www.paspeedo.com/ about 10 years ago when my odo stopped.

I helped meanwhile members here in canada, US, dubai, germany, switzerland, france, denmark, norway, italy but only because they posted their location. some already visited me. and those without good info I block.

I read sometimes also in other sections but I would say the technical knowledge here in the boxers/TR/M section is higher than in other sections and if someone needs help ( remember please that all the written help here is free and you save a lot of money ) I expect a little info from the asking people. but may be I´m too old and expect too much in this interworld?

I still think it is a minimum of respect and decency to others to introduce yourself a little.

Regular, long term interactions are more genuine imo.

 

An update on the new boards. I have sourced new components for the entire board. I was able to get my hands on a few of the fabled 92967 and have been able to solve my clients issue. I will have more boards available, PM for information.

Caveats
The potentiometer shaft is slightly thicker and would require the knob to be drilled very minimally.
The 2 pin motor header is not available and as such has been left off.
