    the max speed I was going with my competition has been 358 km/h ( GPS ) and the rpm limiter was working then. but the street then is going very small and I had to concentrate sooo much. but if there is no or nealy no traffic I often go with 300 km/h without any problem. but have not time then to make a photo

    Sorry for my bad English.
    I have my testa for 5 years now and i was curious for trying the topspeed.
    I live in Belgium, 40 minutes drive from Germany..
    So.. in the summer around the longest day . 21 juni i did a try.Tires where
    There were 3 lanes, almost zero traffic and i try to see his topspeed..and i did. It was so fast and didn't feel comfy.. And my only toughts were' i hope nothing brake'...
    I survived and have my picture.Will i do it again? No , but i'm still enjoying my picture!.
    I was also surprised that on my gps it gaves 300km/u. That is 10 km/u faster then the factory gave for the car in '90.
    I have a tubi exaust.
    I was also once on the circuit in Spa Francorchamps. But the topspeed there was only 250 km/u because of the corners.
    And i think goiing to Nardo highspeed circuit is no option.
    And topspeed on the dyno is not the same...
