looks like a good deal you did you may read here about the problems with fuse board, broken diffs enjoy the car but black? you see every dust on black an dit will get wamr in the cars in sunshine, the AC is not bad but also not so good
Haha the heat is a bonus since I’m in canada , air conditioning is not needed except for the absolute worst of days . Like maridona said “ I need a black one “ lol for me personally black is where it’s at and also have a 99 550 in black . Many red cars in my city . car has the upgraded fuse box , have done some research before I bought . Won’t let stories of broken diffs stop me from enjoying this car . Sort of the reason I didn’t buy a low miler ….. I want to put kms on it with no guilt . If stuff breaks , well …… welcome to vintage Ferrari ownership and break out the ole check book , as one does :/ The black colour comes from seeds planted as a very young boy . In 1988 I had a poster of my dream car on my wall. I used paper route money to frame it even . It was ….. u guessed it a black TR I distinctly remember my mom laughing at me when I told her I was going to save and buy one . Of course she does not remember that . But I do !
Took my 458 out on a drive last weekend with a bunch of "supercar" owners. Someone joined in a beautiful '88 TR. If you're on FChat hopefully you don't mind me posting pics of your car!
That was the standard plate from 82-87. The black with yellow was from 63-69 but came back if you want to pay extra. Back before the 70's California gave out a new plate every year. Now you keep the same plate and put a plastic sticker on it to show you have paid to register the car. 10 years ago there were over 31 million motor vehicles on California roads. It just got crazy trying to give everyone a new plate every year.
Although I never use the hot brush at these places a quick jet wash to blow the dirt off never hurts. Especially when the youngest is doing it and I can watch and admire Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
