Why don't you skip everything under the Aventador and pry Edward's (Plastique999) Scuderia 16M away......Maybe $210k does it....great car, oozes character, nice rarity factor. I was really close to saying F it to a Ford GT and flying out there to buy it.

Yeah, I really miss Central Florida (UCF grad), just wish the Engineering market was better. My college buddies cry when they hear what Engineers pull down in Texas.

    Congrats on the sale Shamile.
Looking forward to hearing about your Aventador search. I may be doing that as well or a Diablo.

Honestly, the scud...basically a F430 really doesn't do anything for me except to experience it like a ride at an amusement park.

...and any or the modern Ferraris really don't strike a cord with me either. What's that new one..P90 or something like that....the back looks like a Corvette....an older Corvette with the squarish lights lol

The design has to wow me...and make me just want to stare at it. The F50 does that for me....but far beyond my pay scale lol

So, the end game seems to be the Aventador Roadster....just love the design...but going to have a little fun getting to it.

Diablo ownership has been awesome for 6 years now, for me it is the right mix of old world charm and feel with modern performance for a later version of the car. The early ones for me are on the crude side.

Then I wouldn’t fool around with Boxsters, 911s and what not....you will lose more money on transactional costs than depreciation on a Aventador Roadster......what an ownership experience that will be!

I like Shamile's game-plan of experiencing a bunch of different bargain sports cars just for fun while the classic car bubble tanks. It sounds like alot of fun! He'll lose a little bit here and there but it shouldn't be enough to matter in the grand scheme of things. The only advice I gave him was to grab a bmw z3 m roadster instead of the boxster. 10x the car in every way, 10x more fun, and prettier. The first gen boxster is a hunk of crap compared to that car.

I bought a nice driver r129 after I sold my Maranello, and I still love the car. I wasn't going to go out and buy another higher end car afterward as I knew this day was going to come. It was just a matter of when.

Shamile I disagree on the p90. That is a stunner and they should produce more of those. It has a little bit of corvette on the nose but you can tell it is wider. It has some boxer in it. Beautiful car, I'd take it over a laferrari any day. I'm not into that car at all.

Agreed. I was shocked at how high it went. And excited too... I got mine for way less - fully serviced and only 4,100 miles. Curious to see where these things head in the next few years

Granted, it might be worth noting two guys ran each other up in a bid war. The third highest bidder was around 94k (99k after fees)

Congrats! The market is the market but in my mind this was a 90k car tops.
Enjoy yours and please don’t do donuts with it lol (cf Facebook group;))
