Ferrari of Salt Lake City has a 1992 512TR for 189K https://www.ferrarisales.com/inventory/used-1992-ferrari-512tr-coupe-zfflg40a9n0091724

As the resident Lamborghini guy here, I'll disagree. I've had my Testarossa and Diablo VT Roadster side by side in my garage for over 10 years. Even though I have a "later" Diablo, the fit and finish of the early Diablo was far superior to the Testarossa. The VT Roadster was also superior by a long shot to the 512TR. Now, what you prefer is personal choice. After detailing both for and winning platinum awards in both cars..I've been into everything on them. The Diablo and Testarossa are pretty much the same size except the Diablo is wider. Both are extremely reliable but the Diablo is far more expensive to maintain. At the end of the day, I always preferred the Diablo over the Testarossa. I currently have a Murcielago Roadster that will be going up for sale soon for a LP640 Roadster. I could buy a 458 spyder but it doesn't have much of an emotional appeal to me. Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
Well, clearly everyone here is saying that testarossa prices are falling... I guess the smart thing would be to part it out... Motor, 50k Windshield 4k Seats 10k Wheels 5k Computer do-hickies 10k Gearbox 15k Diff carrier 7k Body panels... 30k? Frame 20k? Suspension 5 k? Oil filter $150 (kidding) That's $150k so far... Hmmmm. Guess the first guy willing to part his car out will make a killing! Who's first? Bo
Yep...those "do-hickies" are pretty valuable and hard to find lol Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
U like ur tr over an early diablo? I never ever driven one so i don’t know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I'm comparing 91/93 diablos to 90/91 tr imo tr is a bargain look at the asking prices of the early diablos and has the worst interior with that huge cluster driving wise tr wins and looks tr is aging much better than early diablos. Prices are not sinking there stable Image Unavailable, Please Login
Respectfully disagree. Any Diablo over any TR series any day for me! lol Shamile Freeze...Miami Vice! Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
I would never buy a 512m. It’s like seeing a pretty girl you used to like that did too much plastic surgery and turned ugly Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Some of us like babes with some plastic parts. You need to expand your taste buds and imagination a bit and maybe then you appreciate the M.
I am a buyer at $235K. Got a M lined for that amount in Europe. Unfortunately I cannot bring it here for another 2 years.
The only M i ever like is actually for sale on this forum. A blue one from Japan, looks surprisingly great. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just saw this post https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/1987-ferrari-testarossa-rosso-corsa-tan-18k-miles.559364/ 1987 TR listed for $175k on August 28, 2017 and just sold. Looks like it was in great condition. Wonder what the final selling price was.
I love the early year diablos. But I am also not a fan of the interior cluster. Other than that I think they are killer. As far as prices, I think they're going to more than likely sink a little bit further as interest rates continue to rise. The private owners with no need to sell will keep them, but the dealers and brokers will have to begin to price them more aggressively. Those levered dollars are going to start getting heavy, the free ride doesn't last forever.
ive never seen so many diablos for sale when i was in the market for one and had a couple of them there wasnt much around for sale but all the ones for sale right now are from 150/650k i kick my self for not buying a 01 6.0 11k miles for 165k and the price i sold my vt and sv i get sick lol
That's an amazing price even if it came close. I recently sold an '87 with ~10,500 miles for nowhere near that. If you ask me, it likely sold for a solid $120k or equivalent trade of about $135k tops. Just my opinion.
