Testarossa Price Trends

Jason, I bought a rough 512tr 2 years ago, because I wanted a Black/Tan euro model, I have restored it to where I wanted it, but I would have been better off financially if I would have just bought a very good example to start with. Many fewer headaches, but probably less fun also, as you solve those little problems!

 

The Car I purchased does not have any mechanical issues as far as I understand. The only thing it needs is original wheels that I have already purchased.

 

they should put it on BAT. Some clown would buy it for $125k

 

Maybe, but that doesn’t preclude sane offers.

Not for nothing, it’s a 94 with ultra low miles. Pretty special regardless.

Anyone have the stats on number of flying mirrors, and then number of black ones?

 

Photo 29 of VIN tag at driver door bottom looks strange. The color of door bottom should be black and not silver. Am I missing something?

 

Somebody else mentioned to me that "maybe the interior was original". Car must have had some work done to it??

I have the Capistro exhaust and have the original in a box. To my knowledge the red and black interior is original. Maybe the rare colors will bring more money but it's all up to the buyer.

why can’t you say dino pricing should be coming down to earth? Or Daytona prices?

 

Ha. Its kind of sad the testarossa doesnt get much love. I love the dino big-time but being an 80/90s kid the testarossa comes first!

 

Free to you to post sales of those in the relevant sections. Post everything here from the 170k that sold on BAT to this one.
From a basic law and supply demand there are a lot of Testarossa for sale. Long term they will go up.

its ok - I like the car and owners to much in that section to only talk about prices being to high and making comments like “ prices coming back to earth”
