I know they made a lot or Testarossa relatively, but of the 7000 or so, not many around in low mileage, well maintained, good original condition. Last of the flat 12s in an iconic Pininfarina wrapper. IMO 200-250k + is plausible in near future...
well, i have a red 92 with schedoni luggage.....never thought it would exceed the value of my 512bbi...
I remember reading somewhere that just over 2000 were sold in the USA. I can’t remember where I read this and its possible this is inaccurate.
so lets say 2000 for the usa from 84/91 how many are totaled, salvaged story cars etc now the number is much lower than 7k total.
Might want to ask all the scrape yards like ferrparts to see all the vins they have ever seen. Someone with insurance contacts could help a lot to ascertain that Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Agreed that doesn’t answer the question. What we need to know is how many are left. My guess would be 4000 in good condition Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Do we know for sure only 2,000 came to the USA or is that a guess? I'm asking becasue I read an interview in the early 90's with the head of Ferrari and he said 2/3rd's of the cars they make goto the USA, this covered the Testarossa & 328 production years, the 512tr was just starting production. EDIT: I just did the math from this chart, says 2,105 but then there are a lot of grey market cars in the US, so I'm guessing prob 3k in the USA, just a guess.
I’m not sure I understand Ferraris Vin lol I have vin 87100 which could be 90 or 91 lol Now I know it was delivered in march 91 in the USA and built in November 90, it’s advertised as a 1990 model though but that vin is confusing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just for the sake of discussion what do you guys think of this for EUR $80k (US$83k). https://dcar24.de/boerse/user/ahf/detail/detail.php?user=ahf&AutoID=11148&lang=en I am not proposing to buy it etc, just for fun in this thread and interested to hear your thoughts on what the true value is.
Damn. Poor thing. I wouldn’t go near it at that price. Even at US prices, by the time you get it over here, fixed & serviced you’ve got to easily be at market price minimally. Plus you’ve got a grey market salvage working against you.
I remember that 94. A beauty. Was it black/black or black tan? Have a friend who only wants black black.
yea, good point... I'll google and see if there is a gov DB for euro cars that enter the USA so at least we can know how many grey market cars entered (not necessarily are still here tho) ALSO, who says this guys chart with numbers is correct? Seems to be some discrepancies
