Getting there! I am really intrigued by the german one we discussed. Their smog and safety is top notch too.
I mean if i am to spend 170k for one in the USA better be perfect but still would hurt to pay that price knowing the same car across the ocean is much cheaper!

I know, I know...rule #1, post pics. Hopefully in the next few weeks, the 512TR and I will be at the same place at the same time.

Sure everyone who sells a TR at some point regrets it. I certainly do but it had to be done. If I ever decide to get back into another exotic, then it’s another TR or an F40 if I can afford it.

I'm curious, so putting it out there as it relates to TR prices dropping. Why are the 328's up in the $70k's or higher. I did a quick search on prices and was surprised by some that were priced higher than a TR. I drove a 328 last week and enjoyed it, but don't understand why some are priced so high relative to the TR. Yes I know condition has some to do with it, but is there something else I am missing?

A lot of them are consigned so the prices are a bit everywhere.
The tr also has an unjustified bad reputation for maintainance...

Its the same for amg: why does an 08 s65 cost less than an 09s63? Maintenance etc—- yet performance is there for the. 65;)

Yes but engine aside, I feel you get more with the TR. I was not that impresssed with 328 amenities and think the TR is styled better.

Got keep in mind that the 328 takes it shape from the mid/late 70’s 308 whilst the TR is introduced in 84. Also the 12 cylinders have always been Ferrari’s top of the line fleet;)

Completely agree with you, that's why I wonder why pricing is at (and exceeding) TR levels. I was thinking about adding a 328 to the fleet until I saw the prices. I saw a lower priced one at Beverly Hills Car Club but that was a project.

I'm not sure if you are talking about 328 coupes (GTB) or 328 convertible (GTS) .
If you are talking about 328 coupe the answer is that much less of them were made than Testa's.
About 1,500 328 coupe's were made. There were 7200 testarossa made
