    Hi folks.

I was looking at an 87 Testarossa this weekend and it has an Oval MOMO steering wheel. My question is, was this a factory option or was this after market.

    Thanx

I'm pretty sure this was not an option, but an after market product. The prior owner probably had fat thighs and this made driving more comfortable, assuming they never actually had to turn the steering wheel to make a turn.

Not factory. The original TR wheel is quite big (think bus).

Home Depot will carry what you need to fix it (sorry, I couldn't resist). :)

    Dear Ferraristi,

Definately Aftermarket. All Testarossas from 85 to 91 use the same round Momo steering wheel. It has a leather covered outer, black anodized aluminum center and three spoke, with a leather covered "center ring " around the horn button. I'm actually trying to find a 512 TR wheel for my 91 Testarossa. I like the wider grip.
