    Hi Vitor: mail me !!!

Still the cats installed now ? Then: YES a lot of noise more. Do you have the big iron/steel O-rings that you need ?

    Hi Mel,

My car doesn´t have the cats , the previous owner removed them.
I have some normal steel test pipes.

    I will email you!

    All the best

You wanna replace your test pipes with tubi test pipes? There should be no difference. Old test pipes look cruddy or are you just looking to throw money away.

if there is someone having too much money for such testpipes?

pls send me a pm and you get my accout number to transfer :) :) :) the half of the sum what they cost and you may go to an exhaust shop and get some pipes for nearly nothing.
so you have then your pipes and not so much money spent as expected :)

Have you seen the nice ones on Ebay? Fully polished and fairly cheap.

    You mean these ?

After a while they get funny yellouw/purple colours after fast driving, most probably from the heat ;)

There also exist plain tubes/pipes, not like these ... like FUCHS , straigt plain pipe ...

I know this is an old post. I have an 89 testarossa with Fabspeed testpipes. Sounds pretty good but I was wondering how it would sound with a tubi? did you like the way it sounded? Its so hard to get an idea online because some have cats and others don't etc....

I’m confused. You want to replace your test pipes with different ones? That makes no sense. Straight pipes are just pipes. Now if your having a figment issue, that’s another story but if your fabspeed test pipes are good then ???

Mr. Chairman you know you should change the summer air out of your tires also and replace with winter air.......Tubi test pipes are worth ...........40 horsepower over......other test pipes......crazy huh.

be carefull with the winter air, you need really cold air, but not too cold, may be it will freeze and the tire will get icy :)
also you need this air from the time when the car was produced, only so you may have the right handling :) :) ;)

If we're talking about the main cat deletes here it's unlikely you'll notice much difference just changing brands of test pipe. You will get a noticeable sound change if you get rid of the factory precats if you still have them. In my '90 tr losing the precats made quite an improvement vs. losing the mains. I'm running capristo (if I remember correctly) main and precat deletes and a Fuchs can. Sounds great to my tired old ears.
