Here some pictures of the various Testarossa models I have collected over the years:

The original Testarossa as a street and racing version.

The modern Testarossa as a GTB and Hamann spider.

    The 512TR as a GTS.

The 512M and the Mythos, which is based on a TR.

BTW: The GTS and spider versions do exist in real life as customization jobs.

Nice models Andreas - I'm on the look for your 512M, but its a bit expensive because its rare, but I think I'm gonna invest in one soon.

I was really dissapointed with my 512M when I got it... It's ok as long as you don't look at the wheels.

Have to get back on that one to you. Also have to check for the 512M.

BTW: I'm not into collecting cars of different colors, but of different shapes.

Checked the models last night and here is the scoop:

The 512 Spider is actually a Bburago, obviously hand modified.

The 512TR is a Mira, but it is not a 512 TR as I thought, just a 512. The lettering on the back was hard to read, sorry.

BTW: The Bburago as well as the Mira 512 are poorly done in the engine compartment. Looks like a toy.

The 512M is made by Hot Wheels. Its a VERY detailed model. I have a black one for sale if you're interested. Mint condition, no box.

Is the hotwheels 512M a good model? From what I have seen soo far, it appears to be abit off key, it does not look in proportion, looks completely wrong!!!!

Not the greatest but where else can you get one other than Hot Wheels? Sure there are custom ones but they are never that great. I find myself in the same situation quite often, I end up getting models from companies I do not like because they are the only ones that made the particular item.

Same here. My credo is, that I rather have a mediocre model than none at all.

I remember way back when Bburago was the only company out there and all I had and thought it was great. Then came Kyosho and showed the difference, but that doesn't mean I'm tossing out my Bburagos, Mattels or Ertl.

Same here too. Makes like Mira, Bburago, ERTL, Guiloy, doesn't make a great product, but it's better than nothing. It's incredible how a model like the 512 TR from Mira can be selt on the eBay with a higher price than a Kyosho, or something like that. It's hard to find one, this is the reason.
When i was a kid, i also thought that Bburago was the better make, but you always learn along the years...

By the way, i love the TR spider. It's a Hamman, or a Straman??
In this so beautiful black i can't see. Congratulations!!

Yes, it is supposed to be a Hamman conversion. It is incredibly well done as it is not hiding the cut off roof under a canopy. The picture doesn't do it enough credit.
