Where is a source for the weather stripping that fits around door opening in the cabin? Looking for new or used parts. Dealers want $425 when they have them in stock. Any help would be appreciated.

If it's a big one piece deal, you may HAVE to go with a dealer. See if anyone else responds here.

I actually used some weather strip from JC Whitney on my TR. It looks pretty close to the original stuff. My TR has the felt coverd rib strip that goes towards the inside of the cabin....but I've heard from sources that the original style is now discontinued. So rather than spend big bucks through a dealer I went the cheap way out. The hardest part of installation is joining the two ends at the upper rear corner of the door opening. It took quite a bit of work to get the ends trimmed to where they would make a clean joint. I look forward to hearing what others have to say about this topic.

I simply glued mine back together where it had gotten torn. I used super glue and it's hard to see the seam. The felt on the inside is puckered up and has been reglued with a proper adhesive but it looks kind of ugly. It doesn't leak so I'm good for now.

    GOOD QUESTION!!!

I saw these two ads on the Hemmings Motor web site.

FERRARI parts source, new, used, aftermarket, performance; parting out 308, 328s, TR parts, wheels. 480-968-0421, AZ; [email protected] Category: Collector

EX-FERRARI dealer has 1,000s NOS parts for sale at reduced prices. Wayne, 858-350-1393, CA.

I contacted the second one for a big piece for my 328 and am getting it for $125.00....sounds good to me!

    Good Luck!
    Wes

PS: I'd love to see a pic of your car!
