    I have 89 i had it for 2 months was driving tonight and light in dash came on said slow down cly7-12 i was only going 40mph Norwood just did all the service on the car in july has low miles it did go off after a right turn it was on for 5 min or so no book with the car Prussell

    Slow down lite is supposed to indicate cat overheat. However I hear that these cars are prone to faulty control units.

    Could be a sensor, you might try switching them to see if the slow down light changes to the other bank.

    Sounds like the ECU finally crapped. They are mounted on top of the right rear wheel well, try switching the left one and the right one and see what happens.

    Check the contion of the potting. Make sure they do not have any splits/damage.
