I thought it was a bit quiet on the testing issue. Maybe the teams who agreed to limited testing time were secretly testing more than agreed? But here are the stats thus far:

I wonder if those teams who agreed on a testing limit will honour this agreement in the second half of the season. I highly doubt it.

If anyone breaks it would be BAR, McLaren, or Renault. BAR because they had such a horrible start and the latter two because of the obvious championship race.

If you take a look at the amount of mileage of testing between time makes it is.

    Michelin 69276

    Bridgestone 20914

Amasing how bridgestone with only 30% of the testing miles can produce a safe, and reliable tire. Yet Michelin still trys to push the envelope so much that the tires dont have any grooves left at the end of the race.

The whole notion of testing restrictions is completely against the concept of F1. The whole idea is to continue testing, refining and developing new technology.

Michelin have not been able to develop safe tires because there are testing restrictions. Had michelin tested their tires more they would not have nearly KILLED Ralf.

Were you dropped on your head at birth???

Michelin has 3 times the testing data to go with than Bridgestone does. To engineer any thing you need data. The engineers at Michelin have quite more data to use than does Bridgestone. The consistant factor is that the competitive spirit at Michelin has created tires that are on the ragged edge no lack of testing. If they did not have the chance to test like they have this year Michelins would be failing on over 50% of the field each and every race.

Also give the Michelin nearly killed Ralf chant. It is getting quite old. Ralf was never in danger of passing away at this years Indy or last years race. He never had to be placed on life support, administered CPR. you and I as well as Ralf is more likely to be killed driving on a public road than on the race track.

There needs to be a huge button to show the entire post is nothing but sarcasm. My post was in response to yours...

I was simply being sarcastic when I said Michelin had a lack of testing!
