Hi there, Jonathan in Denver here. I'm seriously considering a car in Texarkana (non-ferrari) and am wondering if there is anyone on FChat near enough to take a peak at the car for me? Nothing is near Texarkana, it's two hours drive from Dallas!! Bob Smith Coachworks would be the closest expert, if it is vintage....
Hey now, I lived in Texarkana until recently and loved it! PM me and I might be able to help. I keep an office there and all our friends are there, so I visit frequently. And, from my years of living there, know most of the automobile folks.
Thank you to Texans in general and Christopher in particular! With advice from FChat and Christopher S, and a ppi from Forza (Forza Motorscars) and a little dickering, I am now the owner of a 1986 Porsche 928S. It isn't as rare as my GT4 was, and probably not quite as exotically wild, but it promises to be a fun experience and an affordable entry into Porsche. They are reputed to be fabulous Grand Tourers, so my first drive will be 2,000 miles across the US. BC I am insane, I have shipped the car to my yearly family reunion, and will drive it back from there to Denver! So thank you all for the advice and posts and PMs. Jonathan Denver
