    That's bizarre. If attorneys in my jurisdiction here in TN tried that nonsense, the Judges around here would hold them in contempt, no questions asked. Then they'd be looking at a public censure from the State Bar, if not an outright suspension.

    Joe Jamail has a rep to loosely use dirty language, but he wins his cases...So this behavior would'nt fly in most instances?

    I'm a court reporter. Thankfully, I've never had anything that bad. But that's about when I'd probably be writing little notes to myself (which of course come out in the final transcript) that say things like "Please shoot me now" or "I want to f-ing die."
