    My TFT screen on my 599 flickers, it is ever so slight but it catches my eye every now and then. Anbody had the same experience?

    Folks

    Unfortunately no one replied to my question about the TFT screen, the screen to the right left of the tachometer. Mine flickers continously, only slightly but it is annoying. Dealer say's it is normal but cannot be my laptop doesn't flicker!

    Anyone had the same problem or are everyones screen rock steady and faint flicker free?

    Please advise

    Wish I had something positive to contribute but my 07 has been flicker free. I've had one time computer issues in the past but they seem to disappear as one time wonders. There is so much electronics on these cars it could be almost anything including a simple short What ever it is it is not normal but may be difficult to localize hence the dealers reluctance to touch it. Good Luck in your search for a fix.

    The screen on my 612 flickers a little bit. I've already spoken with the dealer about it, and am planning to have it replaced under warranty.

    Don't buy the "that's normal" line from the dealer on that one. It will only get worse over time, and I don't think that's the kind of thing you want to be replacing outside of warranty, if you can help it.

    The screen on my 612 flickers ever so slightly (basically same screen). The official service center has told me it has to do with the fluctuating voltage on these cars and is something to disregard as long as the flickering is extremely slight.

    I had the same issue with the flickering TFT screen on my 08 599 and the dealer in Dubai told me the same thing. However the flickering got progressively worse and then after about a month it completely died. The screen blacked out and that was it !

    They ended up replacing the entire instrument cluster under warranty.

    Hope that doesnt happen to you but if the flickering gets worse than it will probably end up being replaced.
