Hi, I have a '14 F12 with just over 5000 miles on it. I've had it since March of 2014. A couple of weeks ago I start the car and the TFT screens are blank. Car was taken to dealer, and has been there for about 10 days without an answer to the problem. I suppose gauge cluster will need to be replaced. Anyone else have this problem? This has been my only issue with the car, other than a couple of cosmetic issues that dealer properly fixed.

Hi Maser GTS, my car is a 08/2013 built, i had a complete failure of the whole tft-System, which had to be replaced ( the "NIT", located behind the compartment behind The Seats); Heard, that other F12s have Similar issues, Works well Since then. Maybe your Problem is of Similar Origin; i suggest, you adress your Dealer with that proposition. wishing you happy motoring. best- e

Thank you for the information. My build (according to door label) was Dec. 2013, so it could even be from the same batch. In March when I had my annual service I did have the software fix for the radio witch would come on when I started the car, even though it was turned off last time the car was turned off. That software fix seemed to work during the couple of months after that, until this problem. I'm glad that the car is still under warranty!

I talked to Dealer's service manager yesterday and he said he put a new battery in the car, and screens come on. Believes everything is okay. I'll get car tomorrow. Car just had annual maintenance at the end of March, beginning of April. One would think that the electrical system or battery at least was checked. Have to assume battery was okay then. Not sure why a problem 6 weeks later (service manager said one of the battery cells has not functioning). I drive the car regularly. I'm glad that they didn't have to remove the instrument cluster.
