I wanted to write this post for thanking Daniel and Ricambi on a dire problem I had last week. Last week, I garnered the courage to clean and repaint the Mirror Triangles in my F355 GTS. I first started out by masking off most of the door and such since I could not easily remove the triangles (silicone sealant with the rubber door seals). The Easy Off and sponge were working great. So much do the silicone was cleaned out and I was able to remove the triangles. I cleaned the triangles down to metal to find some base line rust. After more Easy Off and a ScotchBrite pad they were clean as can be and ready to be painted. Onto the paint, I started out with 4 base coats of Rustoluem (flat black). They were beginning to look really good as they dried on the garage floor. The next day I decided to go get some Plasti-Coat paint to give them a more rubber like finish. So far so good. I had just put on the 4th coat of Plasti-Coat and let the triangles dry for an hour before I installed them back in the car. As they were drying my wife came home a little early and oopppssss, Squish! Needless to say depression and sadness kicked in immediately. Plus me cursing myself out for putting the triangles on newspaper in the garage. After about 30 minutes of shock and dispair, I began calling the usual locales. My local dealership would need to order them in. At Ricambi I shot out an e-mail late in the day (Pacific Time). Within a half-hour, Daniel called me about my order. As we all know have heard the replacement Triangles were also showing signs of melting and Daniel had some new ones on order from the factory. I explained what happened and the need to have them by Sunday to participate in a parage lap before the Champ Car race. Well, Daniel worked his magic and on Saturday morning FedEx showed up at the house with 2 new triangles. I know my American Express card just took a hit for the parts and freight. However, the service, care and concern of Daniel and Ricambi for his clients is awsome. Not many people go out of there way to "make it happen" and Daniel is one of them. I just wanted readers to know if they need something for their car I would certainly look to Ricambi first to see if they have it. Finally, Daniel Thanks Again for your help!
