I was in Houston on business the other day and stopped in to see FOH for a half hour or so since I had never been there. Joe Maniaci was kind enough to give me a complete tour of the place, including the race shop where they keep a few cliente corso formula 1 cars. He was very generous with his time and also with lots of interesting information about the cars etc. It was a great way to get an enjoyable business trip Ferrari fix and to meet a nice representative and definite Ferrari enthusiast. Thank you Joe! John
Now I'm pissed. You come to Houston and don't let me know! Because I'm 50 miles out of town, I probably couldn't have made it anyway, but that's not the point! Dale PS Yeah, for a washed up motorcycle salesman turned Ferrari slut, Joe ain't bad.
He has good taste in music...we always compare notes as I wait at the Parts Counter...... Billy Joe Shaver AND Kelly Willis this Saturday....... *flipping coin*
So what, you can't drop a note to a fellow 400 guy who lives just down the expressway? Who owns a winery, who could have plied you with free wine for the trip home? Oh excuuuuuuse me! Guess you're just too busy for us peons. (did I spell that right?) Back to the bashing..... So thanks a lot, I know where I stand now. Cool place though isn't it?
ding ding ding...round one....I'll be up in the houston area in July for a Entrance exam for Pasadena PD.
yeah, I got stuck writing a report when you were leaving....I'll take you up on that offer for sure....Also have to give you a buzz regarding some wine advice for my pops.....
Boy oh boy did I screw up! Just wasn't thinking is my excuse and I'm sticking to it. I'll be back soon and hopefully will have more advance notice to see you guys. John
